Our Story
Desert Shield didn't start in a corporate boardroom. It started with a pressure washer, a lot of elbow grease, and a goal to graduate debt-free. As students studying business and engineering, we wanted to build something that actually brought value to our neighbors in Las Cruces.
We noticed how quickly the intense desert sun and monsoon rains were destroying the beautiful driveways in our local communities. We skipped the cheap hardware store sealers, invested in commercial-grade equipment and penetrating siloxane chemistry, and Desert Shield was born.

Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration at NMSU. John handles all on-site operations and ensures every driveway meets our strict commercial-grade standards. When he's not power washing, he's probably studying for finals.

An Engineering major with an eye for detail. Jane handles the technical side of the business, from calculating sealant coverage rates to managing our satellite quoting system. She brings precision to everything we do.

Lead Materials Specialist
Currently studying Geology at NMSU, Elena is the scientific brains behind our preservation process. She understands Las Cruces soil, concrete degradation, and chemical bonding at a molecular level. She anchors our team with an essential feminine energy, ensuring that our heavy-duty cleaning is always balanced with meticulous, restorative care.
